Jayson Christopher Tatum Sr. is an American professional basketball player that plays for the Boston Celtics in the NBA.
He used to be one of the top basketball players at Chaminade College Preparatory School and received a five-star recruit rating as well. With the high ranking, he successfully enrolled at Duke University.
Even though missing the first few games of his college team due to his foot injury, his shining performance and exceptional talent still drew NBA’s attention. In the 2017 NBA Draft, Jayson Tatum was selected by The Boston Celtics as the third overall pick.
Tatum was voted the NBA Eastern Conference Finals Most Valuable Player in 2022 and assisted the Celtics in reaching the NBA Finals. He was a three-time NBA All-Star and two-time All-NBA pick.
On the 2020 American Olympic team in Tokyo, he also took home a gold medal.
